November is the month we celebrate Thanksgiving. We have SO many things to be thankful for but we want to focus on YOU. We are so thankful for our family and friends who support us while we walk out this calling God has placed on our lives to serve the people of Honduras. We couldn't do what we do without your love, prayers and financial support. We are thankful for every email and text we get, for the encouraging words you give us and the treats you send down. What is just a short note or text to you, is probably the exact encouragement we happened to need that day. Don't ever underestimate your impact on us and what we do here. It is vital and appreciated and we love you all!
We got to see many of you while we were recently home on furlough. We spent 2 1/2 weeks in California where we got to get together with family, friends and supporters. It was a great time ofcatching up and refreshing. Our family was together for the first time in 2 years! Having adult kids is awesome and fun and we had a great time with them.
We spoke at 2 churches and had multiple get togethers. We enjoyed some time at the beach, ate at some of our favorite restaurants and strolled through Old Town Temecula.
Next was our midwest visit. We spent 2 1/2 weeks in Michigan and Illinois. We spoke at 4 churches, met with friends and supporters and enjoyed lots of time with our extended families.
