Working Remotely

I am finally feeling settled in our new location in San Diego. We thought we would move back to Temecula, but God had other plans. We like our new location, and we are making an effort to meet people and make friends. Working from home for 9 years before we moved to Honduras made transitioning back to working from home pretty seamless. With so many people working remotely since Covid, I am just one of the crowd haha. Back in the day, it was a pretty progressive idea.

Technology is wonderful and makes working with my fellow missionaries in Honduras easy and efficient. We are in constant communication every day and take advantage of messaging, video chatting and Zoom calls. The first quarter of the year is always extremely busy with processing year-end giving statements, calculating year-end reporting, our annual board meeting, new budgets for the current year, preparing the tax return in the US and the government report in Honduras. I also coordinate all team scheduling and communication and process all the scholarship renewals. That's all before the end of April! Needless to say, I am in front of my computer all day BUT this is what I love and what I have the privilege of doing for God through El Ayudante.

I had my first return trip to Honduras in February (more info to come) and I return in May. Connecting in person makes my heart happy!

What makes your heart happy? What are you doing for God this week, this month, this year? You will know no other kind of fulfillment as satisfying as what you do for God. Give it a try.........
